Hi, I’m Tara. I’m a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist, former researcher, and recovering perfectionist. I like to call myself “your friendly neighborhood therapist.” As an empath I do a lot of listening and shine a light on people's natural gifts and resources—that are often hidden gems obscured by life's challenges, limiting beliefs, and stuck energy.
When we release those inner resources, life feels lighter, and laughter comes easier. The journey to self-discovery is about balancing your energy and embracing the parts of yourself that have been hurt or rejected. It’s about cultivating self-compassion and acceptance.
No wonder I had a temper! I was awkward and shy, but deep down, I just needed permission to be a messy, energetic kid who could make mistakes and laugh about them.
Now, I admire my younger self for her tenacity—and for her willingness to embrace the mess. That’s what I help others do, too—take small, imperfect steps toward healing, self-compassion, and joy.
I wrote it for my daughters. It’s a good primer on living life with more ease and kindness.
I'm so glad you landed here! I hope you find what you are looking for.
With gratitude,
Tara
